response to one of my ideas

I presented one of my concept ideas to my class and got their feedback after I had done the presentation

The presentation that i presented to the class was my idea no.3 - "Sarah Watson"

The presentation

They enjoyed the presentation and thought it was a good idea, but they did have some questions and other opinions on the production and storyline of the scene.

Questions that I got asked

The first question I got was what time of day would the scene be set in. I am planning on doing the scene in a forest in the daytime so that we don't need to bring lights into the forest and find power sources for them.

Another question I got was how would I fill the body bag if there was no-one in it. I am planning on filling the body bag with clothes, sacks of food or a large doll. I need the bag to look like it has someone in it when the man is carrying it. I could have someone be in the body bag up until the man opens it where I will fill it with something else.

The final question I got was what ages of people would be used for each character. I am planning on having the woman be a student and the man be a teacher.

How the scene should be altered - from opinions of the class

Instead of the bat the shovel should be used as the weapon. Having the bat being used as the weapon is confusing due to the fact that why would she have the bat and where should she hide it. It is an easier weapon to use as it's already out and you don't need to hide it.

There should be no body bag. Body bags are hard to get and if you bought one then you would probably be watched on ur activities. trying to hide a dead body and not get found out would be hard if you were being watched. Not having a body bag would help the killer be more secretive.

The storyline of the scene might be too short. Another killer should be added to hide the body. This would make the woman have to kill two people which would make the scene longer and dialogue between the two killers would add more time to the scene.

Normally the hole to hide a dead body would be pre dug. In the scene the hole should be pre dug and the gap from taking out the digging of the hole can be filled with the two men talking.

The costume of the girl should be a wedding dress instead of just a white dress. The use of the wedding dress will add mystery to the scene. The audience will be thinking why is she in a wedding dress. What had happened before this scene. The dress tells the story.
