my role

 The roles for the production are as follows

director = Bea

camera operator = Cole

editor = me (Will)

Director of photography (DOP) = Daisy 

My role in the production will be editor 

all of the group will do a bit of everything but we all have are roles that we focus on 

I will be focusing on editing 

I chose editing as when we were doing the editing workshop i really enjoyed how editing worked and editing a small piece we made

I didn't choose camera operator as i feel that i am more comfortable with editing even though i still really enjoy using the cameras 

An editor is a person who is in charge of and finalises the film using software to combine shots together and create the movie from the different videos shot from the cameras

I will use the knowledge that i have have gained from the workshop i did on editing to help me edit my groups final filmed opening sequence

before i start editing I will look over my notes on the editing workshop to try get myself up to date and remember some things that i might have forgotten 

I will use the storyboard that me and my group have created to help me will putting the right shots in the right places to create the feel that we want

I will be working with adobe premier pro 

My role is important as editing is the final thing to be don e to our opening scene before it is published and officially finished 

If i mess the editing up even if the shooting went well the opening sequence won't look good 

editing can turn an average opening sequence to an extremely good opening sequence

things i can foresee if the amount of time the editing will take and how precise i will need to be with the order and time frame of the shots
