feedback for knew idea

This is the slides of what our idea was when we talked to Luke about our idea.

We spoke to one the head of production about our idea a pitched our idea. He gave us feedback about what he thought about it and what he thinks we can do to improve it to make it more appealing to the audience.

The technician’s name is Luke.

Luke liked our idea and thought it was a very good idea to work on and he thought that it had a lot of potential.

the original thought was to have the girl kill the two men at the end of the scene. Luke thought it would be a better idea if one of the men was killed earlier on so that the scene would stay interesting. This would let the audience know that the girl is now killing the men instead on the men killing the girl.

Our idea was that someone was going to be listening to music and the audience would hear the music as the soundtrack. Luke said that while you would be hunting you would want to hear everything so no one would be listening to music while hunting. Our sound track would be after or before the scene is shown.

Luke added the idea of adding ambient sound like the gunshots and other sounds that you would hear if you went hunting and were running through a forest. If the sounds of forest things are being heard, then you wouldn't have to video/ shoot them.

Luke was telling our group how you can use the camera to tell the story and help the audience know what is happening in the scene. The men can be shot running towards the right of the screen and the girl can be shot running towards the left of the screen. The use of the girl and the men running towards opposite sides of the screen can suggest that instead of the girl running away from the men she is running towards the men. This can help the fact of her being a fearless person who is ready to fight back.

Luke told us that he thinks that the scene would work with no soundtrack and no dialogue. The lack of a soundtrack and dialogue makes the other sounds and things being shown more impactful.

Luke told our group that we should think about things that we can do to show that it is no accident that the girl knows how to fight and defend herself.
