mood board

 

This is a mood board I made about my groups ideas. I made this by myself but used the ideas from the whole of my group. 

There are 4 areas of the opening scene shown in the mood board:

1. the girl(s)

2. the hunters 

3. the wounds 

4. the location 

The Girl(s)

The spray painted numbers are to represent how each of the girls will have a number spray painted on the back of their clothing.

The bloody dress is for how the main character and also the girl at the start will maybe be wearing a dress which is blood covered 

The messy hair is to show how she has been in combat for a long time and it isn't like she just got there after spending lots of time getting her hair styled 

The bandaged hand and wrist is to help show the audience that she isn't just some regular girl. She knows what she is doing and knows how to properly care for a wound

The jumpsuit is another of the possible costume choices for the girls. The girls could either be in dresses or jumpsuits. It depends on our ongoing decision 

The dog tags are shown as in the opening scene dog tags will be used to show how many of the girls the hunters have killed. Each of the girls have a dog tag. When a girl is killed the hunter will take their dog tag

The hunters                                                            

The guns are shown to show the kinds of weapons that hunters will be using to kill the girls 

The high visibility orange clothing is used to show one of the possible clothing choices for what the hunters will be wearing. The orange high visibility clothing shows that they are hunters but doesn't suggest that they could be military 

The tweed clothing is another one of my groups possible clothing choices for what the hunters will be wearing. The tweed outfit can suggest that the hunters are posh and are treating the hunting of the girls like a typical hunting event

The wounds 

The blood coming from the mouth is shown as we would like to have the opening to have a girl getting her throat slit then throwing up blood/ having blood come out of her mouth 

The throat slit is shown as we would like the opening to have a girl getting her throat slit as well as one of the hunters getting his throat slit

The slab wounds are shown as we can apply the wounds to the girls to suggest they have been through combat of some sorts. We can add then so that it doesn't look too simple to be able to kill the hunted girls 

These wounds are from gun shots

The singular holes are from a gun that shoots one singular bullet at a time. Examples are a rifle or a handgun

The other gun shot wounds are from a gun that shoots multiple projectiles are once. An example of this would be a shotgun

The location 

The forest is shown as this is where the location of our opening scene will be based. So it will be based in a forest. Forests are the types of places where hunts are done so it fits the idea of the hunters hunting the girls like animals
